Description

In this 20th episode of “Mission Works: Thanks to Donors,” Concordia Seminary President Emeritus Dr. Dale A. Meyer, the program’s host, sits down with Dr. Bruce Durazzi, the special collections librarian in the Seminary’s Kristine Kay Hasse Memorial Library. “Libraries have changed,” Meyer says. “And the Kristine Kay Hasse Memorial Library here on campus is an inviting place and not just to Seminary students but to pastors and scholars literally throughout the world.” The men talk about the library’s many resources including its rare book collection of 8,000 volumes, one of which is J.S. Bach’s personal Bible. Mission Works is a weekly vlog that celebrates the significant role of Seminary supporters and highlights how donor gifts are making a difference in the Lord’s mission.
