Description
In this episode of Word and Work: An Intersection, Dr. Dale A. Meyer interviews Dr. James Marriott, director of Musical Arts at Concordia Seminary and the Kreft Chair for Music Arts. Marriot shares how the transition from parish to seminary life impacted his family, and discusses the impact the chapel program has in the formation of the students. Laudamus, Concordia Seminary’s select choir of seminarians, is under Marriott’s direction, and he discusses what it’s like to be on tour, how their program developed and the powerful background behind the music.
