Description
In the first half of Word and Work: An Intersection, Concordia Seminary, St. Louis President Dr. Dale A. Meyer chats with Rev. Bob and Sarah Bernhardt in the middle of an art exhibition in the Seminary’s Kristine Kay Hasse Memorial Library. The exhibition, which was curated by Sarah, was part of the 2018 Theological Symposium. The three discuss Rev. Bernhardt’s ministry as pastor of youth and family at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in St. Louis, Mo., and Sarah’s as the director of the Intersect Arts Center, which is housed at Holy Cross. The Bernhardts share how they are reaching out to youth and families in the neighborhood. In the second half of the program, Rev. Bernhardt’s chapel sermon from the Theological Symposium is shared.
The photos from the Art Exhibit are located at Visualizing the Theology of the Cross.
