Dying Well in Christ

Momento Mori – “remember that you will die” – rang in the ears of Christians in the Middle Ages. Death lurked around every corner. So much so, the church distributed illustrated books on the “art of dying” – Ars Moriendi – to help the people of God prepare for their own death and guide their care for one another in the face of death.
