Chancel Drama Trilogy: Isaiah's Man of Sorrows. Pastoral care sessions with Service members and veterans provide keen insight into the book of Isaiah. For those who have experienced violence and terror, Isaiah exposes like no other the carnage and collateral damage of war. The chancel dramas in the trilogy take us through the carnage and collateral damage associated with sin to healing and the hope of eternal life through the promise of the Messiah. The trilogy consists of the following chancel dramas: "And the government will be upon his shoulder," based on Isaiah 9:6, "The Man of Sorrows," based upon Isaiah 53:6, and "With his wounds we are healed," based upon Isaiah 53:5.
