Description
In this 18th episode of “Mission Works: Thanks to Donors,” Concordia Seminary President Emeritus Dr. Dale A. Meyer, the program’s host, talks with Gary Thies, founder of Mission Central in Mapleton, Iowa. Mission Central is the largest mission network that is providing support to LCMS Office of International and National Mission, also known to many people as LCMS World Mission. Every year a group of seminarians visit Mission Central to learn about the organization's mission and small town ministry. "Mission Central is a miracle place," Thies says. "It's a regional mission center. People come from all over to hear the message of the Lord's missionaries who have been called all over the world." Mission Works is a weekly vlog that celebrates the significant role of Seminary supporters and highlights how donor gifts are making a difference in the Lord’s mission. Learn more at Support.
