Abstract
The disregard for a formal discussion of ethics in no wise indicates that the Mennonites believe they are perfect. To the question “is the converted man perfect?” the Mennonite Brethren Catechism states: “No; he has only begun the race toward the goal of holiness; even the most holy men, as long as they are in this life, have their imperfections. Philippians 3:12-13; 1 John 1:8.
