Abstract
The present study will examine the various themes in Paul's thought which employ the concept of corporate personality with a view to determining the proper interpretation of this Pauline concept. As such, this investigation will be a work of New Testament Theology in the technical sense of the term. Although the apostle uses a number of different terms in which the idea of corporate personality is involved, the fact that he relates these terms to one another indicates that he worked with a single and identifiable concept of corporate personality. Therefore, even though we will treat these individual terms separately, it will be necessary to demonstrate how Paul relates them to one another to form a unified concept of corporate personality.
