Abstract
The title of this thesis is: The Meaning of υποταγή and υποτα̍σσω in the Pauline Corpus and in Hebrews. The purpose of this paper is to consider all of the verses in which Paul used either the noun or verb and to ascertain the meaning in each case. Special effort is made to get the meaning Paul gave to these words in his time and in the given situations.
