Abstract

The great problem before us in this thesis is: What is the value of the multifarious interpretations which have been offered concerning the images of Revelation XVII? Our thesis has the specific title. "The Great Harlot of Revelation XVII. An Evaluation of the Various Interpretations Offered Concerning", which topic centers around the most important image (The Harlot) of the chapter. But our treatise will also contain the views and interpretations regarding the other lesser symbols of the chapter --- the Beast, the kings, the seven mountains, and all those problems mentioned before.
