Description

The city of St. Louis is home to many new immigrants and especially refugees (new Americans). These new American friends being resettled in St. Louis come from various countries with different religious, language, ethnic and cultural backgrounds. As they struggle to adjust to their new surroundings, learn a new language (English) and cope with navigating a new socio-cultural system, the local church has a significant opportunity to rise and serve them. In St. Louis, Christian Friends of New Americans seeks to enable the hopeful church to welcome and serve these new neighbors, and in this process, witness and invite them to their Lord Jesus Christ.
