In this 15th episode of “Mission Works: Thanks to Donors,” Concordia Seminary President Emeritus Dr. Dale A. Meyer, the program’s host, talks with the Seminary’s Senior Vice President of Seminary Advancement and Chief Communications Officer Vicki Biggs. The two talk share an update about the call issued to Professor Thomas Egger as the Seminary’s 11th president and donations to the Seminary in the last year. Donor support, Meyer says, makes up 90% of the Seminary’s budget. “By God’s grace and with thanks to our amazing donors, December closed with terrific numbers,” Biggs said. “This is especially noteworthy in a year with a pandemic, something that hasn’t hit the United States for 100 years.
