Abstract

In an inductive analysis of reason and faith in the thought of Luther, one can induce his responses to the issue of the relationship between certainty and truth. This analysis, then, is the direction of the present paper. This analysis, Integrated into this analysis of Luther1s views of reason, faith, and certainty will be a comparison of Luther's conclusions with those of Augustine.
