Abstract

This range of translation techniques is the concern of this thesis. The main body of this thesis is two-part. Chapter two is a detailed analysis ofthe Hebrew Tripartite Nominal. Clause. The analysis presents a multiplicity of examples offering two distinct syntactic analyses. Chapter three presents a systematized presentation of the Old Greek data showing which translation techniques were employed for the different TNC types. Chapter four concludes the thesis by interpreting the statistics presented in chapter three and reiterating the two analyses of the Hebrew clause structure provided in chapter two. Following the conclusion is an appendix which exhaustively presents the data supporting this thesis
