  Light from Above: Episode 02- Reflections on Call Day

  Call Day is one of the most meaningful days at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. It is the day when graduating seminary students and their families find out where they will serve as pastors and deaconesses for the first time.

  In this episode of Light from Above, Seminary President Dr. Thomas J. Egger takes you inside one of his favorite days of the year. Hear what it feels like when a student's name is called and the name of a congregation follows, knowing that God, through His Church, is directing a servant to a specific place and a specific people.

  Call Day takes place on April 28, 2026. We invite you to join us in person or online to pray for these students and give thanks that God continues to provide workers for His Church.
