Abstract

The biblical concept of the fear of God is impossible to describe in this treatise. Because there are about two hundred places where the Scriptures speak of the fear of God. We must focus on some of the most important passages. Our task is to interpret important proverbs in order to derive the basic idea of the fear of God. First of all, therefore, it must be determined what this term means and contains and then, as it is in the Christian Ethics comes to the fore. The first part is dogmatic, the second ethical. Therefore, our disposition also breaks down into two main parts and several sub-divisions.
