Abstract
The fact that the invitation to believe is always prededed, in Scripture, by the call to repentance reveals the necessity for an extensive knowledge of sin and it consequences. Scripture teaches that we must be conscious of and sorry for our sins before we can be drawn to the Gospel of Christ.
