Abstract

A critical evaluation of the influence of a man Like Dr. Sihler upon an active church body presents special d1fficulties. Of the three is essential processes in the art of producing history: the gathering of data, the criticism of data, and the presentation of facts in a readable form, the second in the present instance is particularly difficult for one standing within a certain tradition.
