Abstract

This thesis is a divided into two main parts. The first part is a review of some of the main techniques for counseling in general. In addition to loving God and people, it is important that the pastor know something about the principles of counseling, if he wants to be adequate in giving help by counseling. The second part concerns the Biblical and pastoral aspect of marriage. In the second part the counseling techniques are applied specifically to pre-marital counseling by the Christian pastor.
