Description
Suffering is an unavoidable part of the human experience, and it does not take long in a ministry context before we see its signs. Trauma, as a specific form of suffering, is something many people have experienced. The laments of Scripture, particularly the Psalms, give us language to approach the trauma of human life, with its questions of theodicy and emotional, physical, and mental suffering. Join us, seminarians Aidan Moon and Adam Flanick, as we scratch the surface of how lament can be integrated through ritual and liturgy to help those suffering develop the skills necessary to live in right relationship with God and their fellow creatures.
