Abstract
The heart and center of the Christian Gospel is Jesus and His atonement. “God made Him sin for us who knew no sin." "God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself" That is the essence of the Gospel according to St. Paul and all the other New Testament writers. Any attempt to change or modify this truth means to distort the Gospel and to dishonor Christ.
