Abstract
My conclusion is that the theology of the theosis school develops a theological anthropology which diverges from that of Luther as well as later Lutheranism. The major deficiencies of the theology of theosis, from the perspective of Lutheran theology, are its neglect of creation, its failure to grasp Luther's theology of the word, and its inadequate appreciation of the role of Christ's humanity in our justification
