Abstract

There are twenty-five passages in the Koran, the holy book of the Mohammedans, in which the name "Jesus" appears. When perusing these passages one cannot help but be struck by the question, "What were the Koran's sources? Where did Mohammed get his knowledge of Jesus?" To answer these questions accurately has been the ambition of Islamic scholars for many years.
