It´s widely recognized how Copacabana (and the surrounding neighborhoods in the city of Rio de Janeiro) is one of the top touristic destinations in the world. With its famous beach, bohemian lifestyle and others fascinating features, the area has attracted and enchanted all kinds of people since its development more than 450 years ago. What is not so well-known is its Gospel-resistant and church-unfavorable personality as a mission field, as well as its key position toward fulfilling of the Great Commission in the entire country as its cultural heartbeat.
