that we're looking at here Isaiah 6610 to 14 short text only five verses is appointed for proper nine in the year see of the three year lectionary that will occur in on July, the third 2022. 12 00:01:50.640 --> 00:01:59.760 Kevin Golden: Well let's also remember that we happen to be dealing with Hebrew poetry in Hebrew poetry is known for a variety of things one it is known for its terseness that it. 13 00:02:00.180 --> 00:02:13.470 Kevin Golden: is very abbreviated and short now there's a variety of ways that it does that and this text is going to be a little bit a typical in that regard, if you were with me recently as we looked at another text coming out of Isaiah. 14 00:02:13.800 --> 00:02:17.010 Kevin Golden: We saw the same thing they're also in Isaiah chapter 65. 15 00:02:44.550 Kevin Golden: Now, not as big of a degree, as we saw in that previous treatment of Isaiah 65 here in Isaiah 66 we're still going to see those things pop up a little bit, but not a great delivery of god's word that's certainly true for Isaiah as he delivers the goods to us here in these verses but also it's true that, as we learn from this, it gives us potency and how we proclaim the you'll notice within these verses that we are going to be working through that there is some attention, it can be partly understood as being a prophecy of realization of this prophecy in the return really flows out of this very well and in a very clear grammatical way so we'll take note of that, when we get there, but let's dive right in to these specific verse let's read this first line of
