Abstract

Before beginning the thesis paper, in which only exegetical and doctrinal matters will be set forth and authenticated on the basis of the text of the three inspired epistles and such other texts as necessarily are drawn into the picture, it is entirely fitting, yes necessary, that certain historical matters be investigated and the isagagical material on the three epistles of John be studied and briefly set forth.
